India, France to ink Rafale M Fighter jets deal on Monday
India and France are set to finalize a ₹63,000 crore deal on Monday for Rafale M fighter jets, enhancing the Indian Navy's aircraft carrier capabilities. The government-to-government agreement includes 26 marine Rafale fighters with weapons, addressing the performance issues of the existing MiG 29K fleet. This acquisition serves as an interim solution while India develops its indigenous carrier-borne fighter jet.
