Anti-Maoist operation enters day 5, Ultras seek peace talks with govt

A large-scale operation targeted Maoists near the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border. Around 10,000 security personnel were involved. A letter surfaced, purportedly from Maoists, proposing talks. Security forces launched the operation in the Karregutta and Durgamgutta hills. Three women Maoists were killed during the operation. Authorities recovered weapons and explosives.
