PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Record-breaking heat was felt around Portland on Thursday afternoon and evening as highs climbed to 81 degrees.
The gradual warming trend felt across the Pacific Northwest this week peaked Thursday as the Rose City hit 81 degrees for the first time this month. The Pacific Northwest is no stranger to an early season round of heat. March had a total of two days in the 80s with the warmest high felt this year at 82 degrees.
