Albany man sentenced in Walgreens robbery

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- An Albany man was sentenced Wednesday to 12 years in prison for robbing a Walgreens store in October. According to the Albany County District Attorney's Office, Ray Richardson, 57, robbed the store with a butcher knife.

On October 2, 2024, police say Richardson entered the Walgreens at 41 Holland Avenue, showed the attendant a butcher's knife and demanded the cashier to empty the register drawer.
