EV firm PURE introduces 5MWh grid storage product; lines up Rs 400 cr for capacity expansion

PURE has launched PuREPower Grid, a 5MWh battery storage product, to stabilize grids and integrate renewable energy. The company plans to invest ₹400 crore to expand battery and power electronics production, increasing capacity to 2.5 GWh. This move aims to support India's renewable energy goals and facilitate EV fast charger adoption by eliminating infrastructure upgrade challenges.
