Cohoes student volunteers help plant trees for Earth Day
COHOES, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- April 22 is Earth Day, a day meant to recognize the planet and our role in protecting it. In the Capital Region, Capital Roots took that mission to heart.
The non-profit planted 100 trees in a single day on Tuesday, marking their largest collective tree planting effort ever as they celebrated their 50th anniversary. The trees were planted along I-787 and the Cohoes Boulevard Corridor.
