Chobani picks New York for site of $1.2 billion factory and 1,000 jobs

ROME, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- After a nationwide search for a site, Greek yogurt-producer Chobani has chosen the City of Rome for its new 1.4 million square-foot manufacturing facility with 1,000 jobs, Governor Kathy Hochul confirms to NewsChannel 9.

The $1.2 billion facility to be built at the Griffiss Business and Technology Park represents the largest investment in natural food manufacturing in American history, said the governor.
