Diver creates GoFundMe to recover presumed Martin Family car from Cascade Locks

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – The recovery efforts to pull a car from the bottom of the Cascade Locks continue, but divers are asking for the public’s help.

KOIN 6 News first broke the discovery of what appears to be the Martin Family car buried under years of sediment in the Columbia River. The story came after diver Archer Mayo spent six years searching for the car that disappeared with a family of five inside in December 1958.
