Stewardship in Motion: NWTA Volunteers Go Beyond the Trail for Earth Day

This Saturday, April 19th,  NWTA held its fifth annual Earth Day Cleanup at Rocky Point. 18 volunteers sported their hi-vis vests, garbage pickers, and heavy-duty bags to spiff up this area that we have all grown to love.

The original plan was to cover the entirety of Rocky Point Road as well as a section of woods in the clear-cut above the parking lot.

Much to our surprise, two lovely folks were spotted picking up trash...
