Volkswagen planning exports from China to Asia, South America, Middle East

Volkswagen intends to leverage its Chinese manufacturing base to export vehicles to Asian markets, South America, and the Middle East, according to its China chief. While excluding exports to the U.S. and Europe, except for the Tavascan model, the company aims to capitalize on the competitiveness of its Chinese-made models in these regions.
