One person injured in south Topeka shooting

TOPEKA (KSNT) - One person was injured, after a shooting in south Topeka.

According to Topeka Police Department (TPD), officers responded to a report of aggravated battery at SW 45th and Topeka Blvd. Monday night at 11:16 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found one person suffering from a gunshot wound. They were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
