Illegal construction: Does Maharashtra govt want to encourage law-abiders or lawbreakers, asks HC

The Bombay High Court has strongly criticised the Maharashtra government and the BMC for failing to act against an illegal construction in Andheri despite repeated complaints since 2021. The court expressed annoyance at the BMC's inaction and questioned whether the state encourages law-abiding citizens or law-breakers.
