Monday Memories: Holocaust sculpture dedicated in 1980 left an unforgettable impression
Lois Dorfman’s sculpture, ‘For This the Earth Mourns’, was unveiled in April 1980, on the grounds of the Jewish Community center in memory of the Holocaust. The bronze artwork contains 13 figures of men, women and children rising from the bricks, frozen in time, stricken, questioning.
