Murder investigation launched after woman, 45, stabbed to death in London

A 45-year-old woman has been knifed to death in a housing estate in north London.

The woman was attacked at around 7pm yesterday evening in Ayley Croft, Enfield.

Helicopters from London’s Air Ambulance swooped in to try to save her, but she was pronounced dead shortly after.

The Met Police have not made any arrests and are investigating the stabbing.

The victims family have been informed.
