Rain to drench southern Finland on Easter Sunday

Southern Finland will face heavy rain and cooler conditions on Easter Sunday, following a brief spell of unseasonal warmth on Saturday, according to forecasts from the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI).

On Saturday, temperatures exceeded 20 degrees Celsius in parts of the Helsinki region. But by Sunday morning, the weather had shifted, with thick cloud cover and rain pushing across southern areas of the country.
