Badesatti becomes Chhattisgarh's first Naxal-free gram panchayat after introduction of Elvid scheme

Badesatti, a gram panchayat in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district, has become the first Naxal-free area in the state under the Elvid Panchayat Yojana. This achievement follows the surrender of 11 Naxalites, making the village eligible for development projects worth Rs 1 crore. The initiative aims to eradicate Naxalism from the Bastar region by encouraging surrenders and fostering development in affected areas.
