Mamata Banerjee to lay foundation stone of JSW's 1600 MW Salboni power plant on April 21

West Bengal is set to boost its power capacity. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will lay the foundation for a 1,600 MW thermal plant in Paschim Medinipur. A 112 MW solar project will also be inaugurated. The state is planning more thermal and pumped storage projects. These initiatives aim to meet the rising power demand and ensure uninterrupted supply.
