Special Events: Sedaris to delight Valentine crowd

Humorist David Sedaris will appear at the Valentine Theatre on Thursday for An Evening with David Sedaris. The essayist, known to some for his “Santaland Diaries” and contributions to National Public Radio, recently published a children’s book, entitled Pretty Ugly, and his show offer commentary and unpublished stories. Book signings will be offered before and after the show, which begins at 7:30 p.m. at the downtown theatre, 410 Adams St. Some tickets are still available at etix.com.
