Riley County officials share ways to prevent measles

MANHATTAN (KSNT) - Wednesday, April 15, an update on the measles outbreak in Kansas. State health officials now confirming 37 total cases.

All of them stretching across eight counties in southwest Kansas. Most people infected are children. According to the CDC, measles is very contagious. The incubation period for the virus can be up to two weeks. It can cause severe health issues for children and people who aren't vaccinated.
