Longtime Musician Rips Britney Spears' Cover of His Song

Britney Spears was called out this week for "butchering" her cover of a hit song from 1988.  

In 2004, Spears recorded a cover of Bobby Brown's single "My Prerogative." She released her version as part of her first greatest hits album titled, "Greatest Hits: My Prerogative." 

During an appearance on Shannon Sharpe's "Club Shay Shay" podcast, Brown offered his blunt assessment of Spears' cover. He started off his rant by saying the iconic singer butchered "My Prerogative."
