ET Graphics: Inflation’s uneven teeth doesn't bite all Indians equally

Inflation cooled to a six-year low of 4.6% in FY25, as per the latest data from the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI). However, the relief wasn't evenly spread across the country. Fourteen states and union territories recorded inflation rates higher than the national average, with Manipur topping the list at 6.5%.
