Bail for cop on joint rape charge

Constable Edmond Winfield Barrow, 58, has been released on $25 000 bail and among his conditions on a joint rape charge is that he checks in with the Oistins Police Station every Wednesday.

Barrow, of Sunjet Drive, Lowlands, and Cristiano Ronaldo Jackman, 17, of Water Street, both in Christ Church, are alleged to have committed the act on January 8 this year.

They were remanded to Dodds Prisons until April 23 when they appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District “F” Magistrates’ Court last month.
