Woman in her 30s stabbed to death inside flat as cops arrest man, 34, and search canal in murder probe

A WOMAN has been stabbed to death inside a flat as cops arrest a man on suspicion of murder.

Police responded to reports of a “domestic incident” at an address in Huyton, at around 10.30pm last night.

Officers found a woman, in her 30s, who had been knifed inside a flat at Knowsley Heights.

She was rushed to hospital where paramedics tragically pronounced her dead a short while later.

Merseyside Police have arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of murder.
