Three-year-old toddler ‘assaulted by man, 31, at popular playground’

A MAN has been charged in connection with the alleged assault of a three-year-old toddler in a Scots play park.

Police said a 31-year-old was traced, arrested and formally charged after officers received a report regarding a disturbance in Kilwinning, Ayrshire, on Tuesday.

The alleged incident happened on Stobbs Crescent, Kilwinning, on Tuesday Cops responded to reports of a disturbance

Cops said a report would be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
