Cubs Calling Up Lefty Reinforcement from Triple-A

We’ve talked about the Cubs needing to make a roster move ahead of Tuesday night’s game against the Padres and we now have the answer. Eli Morgan is going on the injured list and replacing him in the bullpen is left-handed reliever Luke Little, who has been called up from Triple-A.

Little, 24, missed the final few months of the 2024 season with a shoulder strain. The lefty had settled in nicely in last year’s bullpen before the injury cut his rookie campaign short and he’ll certainly be a welcomed sight for Craig Counsell.
