India, Tanzania explore new ways to boost defence ties

Minister Sanjay Seth's Tanzania visit on April 14 strengthened India-Tanzania defence cooperation, focusing on counter-insurgency, counter-terrorism, and cybersecurity. Seth and Minister Stergomena Lawrence Tax explored enhanced training programs and defence industry collaboration. The Africa India Key Maritime Engagement (AIKEYME) exercise, co-hosted by both nations, was inaugurated, emphasizing maritime security.
