France is preparing to recognize a Palestinian state within the coming months, with a potential announcement at a United Nations conference in New York this June. President Emmanuel Macron confirmed the plan during an interview on France 5 television.
Macron, who recently visited Egypt, stated that the conference would be co-chaired by France and Saudi Arabia.
