Four arrested over obscene AI images in Japan first: Reports

In a first-of-its-kind crackdown, Japanese police have arrested four individuals for allegedly selling AI-generated obscene images. The suspects, aged between 20 and 50, reportedly used free AI software to create indecent images of nonexistent women and sold them as posters on internet auction sites for several thousand yen each.
