Los Angeles DJ Jed ‘The Fish’ Gould Dead at 69

Well known Los Angeles DJ Jed "The Fish" Gould has died. The 69-year-old spent the majority of his radio career at KROQ-FM. According to Variety, Gould died after being diagnosed with lung cancer, which was relatively recent.

The news of his death was confirmed on Instagram on April 14.

"At 6am on April 14, 2025, the world lost one its most unique and brilliant personalities," a post uploaded to Gould's account read. "Jed the Fish passed peacefully away in his beloved home, and the world will never be the same.
