Cooperative movement had remained in shambles as laws not tweaked earlier: Shah

Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah stated that the cooperative movement in India suffered due to outdated laws. He highlighted the establishment of the Ministry of Cooperatives after 75 years of independence to revitalize the sector, which had been previously neglected. An agreement between NDDB and Madhya Pradesh State Co-operative Dairy Federation was signed to boost milk production in the state.
