Army junior commissioned officer killed in foiled infiltration bid near LoC in Jammu’s Akhnoor

An infiltration attempt across the Line of Control near Akhnoor in Jammu was foiled by the Indian Army, resulting in the death of Subedar Kuldeep Chand. The JCO, from 9 Punjab battalion and a resident of Himachal Pradesh, sacrificed his life while leading the counter-infiltration operation in the Keri Battal area of Sunderbani.
