A new petition is asking for a pardon for Shane Lamond, a former Metropolitan Police Department lieutenant convicted in December 2024 over charges related to his contact with supporters of President Donald Trump, including Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio, to prevent clashes between the group and Antifa.
