Calcutta HC orders deployment of central forces in Murshidabad over clashes against Waqf Act

The Calcutta High Court has directed the deployment of central forces in Murshidabad. This followed violence related to Waqf Act protests. Two deaths occurred, and over 100 arrests were made. The court wants CAPF to restore order. The state and central governments must submit reports. Suvendu Adhikari sought central forces. BSF companies are in Suti, Dhuliyan and Samserganj.
