Lafayette traffic stop leads to seizure of 70 lbs. of marijuana: police

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- A man has been arrested after a traffic stop in Lafayette led to the seizure of 70 lbs. of marijuana and other illegal drugs, authorities said.

Trevis Hudson, 23, was arrested Thursday and charged possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute promethazine, possession of money derived from drug proceeds and possession of a firearm in the presence of drugs.
