Troopers identified in Malta barracks shooting, AG investigating

MALTA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The troopers involved in the shooting at the New York State Police barracks in Malta have been identified. David Levine, 69, of Malta, was fatally shot during the April 9 incident.

NYSP said Levine went to the barracks and shot at the building with a long gun. Troopers reportedly issued multiple commands for him to drop the weapon, but Levine pointed the gun at them.
