UCLA men’s basketball adds 3 more from transfer portal

The UCLA men’s basketball team announced the addition of three more players via the transfer portal while the biggest Bruin – literally – got away Friday.

Xavier Booker, Jamar Brown and Steven Jamerson II will join Donovan Dent as the latest players to transfer to Westwood, offsetting the official departure of 7-foot-3 Aday Mara to Michigan.

Booker, a 6-foot-11, 240-pound forward/center and former McDonald’s All-American, averaged 4.7 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.7 blocks per game for Michigan State as a sophomore last season.
