Celery sticks sold at Walmart recalled in multiple states due to listeria risk

TOPEKA (KSNT) - Federal health officials say celery sticks sold in multiple states, including Kansas, are being recalled Friday as they may be contaminated with listeria.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reported on April 10 that Duda Farm Fresh Foods, Inc., based out of California, is voluntarily recalling a single production lot of washed and ready-to-eat celery sticks as they may be contaminated with listeria monocytogenes.
