Weezer Bassist Says His Wife Is “Alright” After Shooting

Weezer bassist Scott Shriner’s wife, author Jillian Lauren Shriner, has been arrested for attempted murder after pointing a gun at police officers on Wednesday.

What happened, according to the New York Times, was that Los Angeles police were pursuing suspects from a nearby hit-and-run in the neighborhood of Eagle Rock. They ended up on a random property, apparently near where the Shriner’s home is, and allegedly saw Jillian armed with a handgun in her yard.
