Tariff war: Aluminium producers closely monitoring dynamic situation, say analysts

With the US pausing reciprocal tariffs, Indian aluminium producers are closely monitoring trade flow changes, particularly concerning potential dumping from China and the Middle East. While the pause doesn't affect existing 25% levies on aluminium, India's mineral and non-ferrous metal exports to the US, including aluminium, accounted for USD 1,291 million in FY24.
