Suspect accused of firing gun at Concord police charged with attempted murder
CONCORD — Prosecutors have charged a man with more than one count of attempted murder after police said he tried to run from a traffic stop and pointed a gun at two officers last week, according to court records.
Court documents show that Eric Foreman, 37, of Richmond, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, as well as two counts of assault on a peace officer; being a felon in possession of a gun; and carrying a loaded gun. The drama happened on April 3.
