Babe Ruth's former Florida home goes up for sale for nearly $2M
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida home with historical ties, including to baseball legend Babe Ruth, hit the market for just under $2 million.
The 1924 craftsman bungalow, located in St. Petersburg's Historic Old Northeast neighborhood, once belonged to Ruth and to George Gandy Sr., the builder of Gandy Bridge, according to the real estate listing.
