Mechanism for judicial accountability need of the hour: Congress resolution

The Congress party on Wednesday termed the discovery of cash at Delhi High Court Judge Yashwant Varma's residence as "alarming" and called for a mechanism for judicial accountability, while preserving judicial independence. This came after an inquiry into the discovery of cash during a fire incident at Varma’s home in March.
