Asset valuer appointed for IDBI Bank; govt deliberating on share purchase pact: DIPAM secretary
The Indian government has appointed asset valuers for the valuation of IDBI Bank and is deliberating on a share purchase agreement with a prospective buyer. The privatisation of IDBI Bank has been ongoing for over two and a half years. The Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) is moving ahead with the strategic sale, which is expected to conclude in 6-7 months.
