Authorities are currently searching for a Las Vegas veterinarian, who went missing amid backlash after video showed him kicking a horse in the head.

According to FOX5 in Las Vegas, authorities are in Lake Mead looking for Dr. Shawn D. Freher. The National Park Service is working with Las Vegas Metro Police in this search and rescue effort.

The news station reports that Freher went missing after he was harassed online after video of the heinous act began circulating on social media.
