Thirty-five-year-old Barbara (a pseudonym) had taken the first of two abortion pills she had received in the mail, and, afterward, regretted that decision.

The Missouri woman searched online for a way to stop the chemical abortion process and in the late afternoon hours of Friday, March 14, she was put in touch with PRC of Rolla – only hours prior to a tornado hitting the community of Rolla. The storm would render many in the area without power, including the pregnancy help medical clinic, impacting her follow-up care.
