South Korea will hold presidential elections on June 3 to replace Yoon

South Korea will conduct a presidential election on June 3, following the impeachment of former leader Yoon Suk Yeol after a failed attempt to impose martial law, the acting president announced Tuesday. The country has been without effective leadership since December, when Yoon was suspended from office by lawmakers.
