Wanted Scott man arrested in connection with nine counts of attempted murder

ACADIA PARISH, La. (KLFY) -- The Crowley Police Department arrested a wanted Scott man in connection with several attempted first-degree murders in two separate incidents.

Officials said they arrested 18-year-old Rondell Nelson on nine counts of attempted first-degree murder. He was sent to an Acadia Parish jail.

Nelson had been wanted in Acadia Parish since November of 2024.
