Walmart electronics thief convicted in Washington County

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A 35-year-old man who stole about $12,000 in electronics from area Walmart stores in 2023 was sentenced to 5 years in prison by a Washington County judge.

A jury convicted Isaura Garcia on April 2, the Washington County District Attorney's Office said. These crimes began February 20, 2023 when Garcia and a woman walked into a Tigard Walmart and tampered with a security case filled with electronics. He then shoplifted other items and put on a disguise when he came back in the store about 30 minutes later.
