Bengal Guv expresses reservations over CM Mamata Banerjee's pick for VCs of 17 varsities, writes to SC

West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose has informed the Supreme Court of his reservations regarding Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s recommendations for vice-chancellors at 17 state-run universities. While he has approved appointments at 19 universities, he raised valid concerns about the remaining candidates, submitting his opposition in a sealed cover for the court's review.
