Update: Beach hazards statement issued for Bay Area Shorelines until Monday night – sneaker waves possible

Coastal North Bay including Point Reyes National Seashore, San Francisco Peninsula Coast, Northern Monterey Bay and Southern Monterey Bay and Big Sur Coast as well as San Francisco County are the focus of an updated beach hazards statement issued at 1:31 a.m. on Sunday by the National Weather Service. The statement is valid from 11 a.m. until Monday, Apr. 7 at 11 p.m.
